Looks like it handles nice, but the front bridles look really long. Are they going to wrap the kite when it gets rolled in the surf and tear it in half? Or is that just the video?

Hi,

Yeah I definitely do. 5/6m my favourites

Ced

You miss his point. In 30+ the features in the Roam that make it work well are no longer needed. On the 5/6m size you need "high wind" kite features rather than "wave kite" features.
Point taken, But given the right conditions, I still want my 5m to handle like a wave kite when it is suitable for it.
Not saying the other model 5/6m don't have that. Haven't tried them so no judgement from this peanut.

Just the video. I will try to get bridle schematics for you later today but we design all our kites with front bridles designs such that they cannot wrap the wing tip.

Bushflyr - the photo is deceptive, the bridles are not long enough to wrap the wingtip.

I received my demo kites today (topmick), stock still on the water - great looking kite and they feel light in the hand. New bags for this season also, large bag with plenty of room, front pocket, separate side pocket for control bar, mesh sides on the bottom to let out sand and water vapor, side pocket for pump, padded back and straps.

Of note:

New high speed inflate valve, not a boston valve like last season but a new quick connect type, works great with the BIG pump.

New strut valve connections

Well constructed, yet to take on the water.....

OR never fails to construct their kites really well, this one looks built right, as usual.
