Hey guys!
I already have 6-8-10-13 Rebels and 17m Ocean rodeo Flite (with my gf... who's much more lither than me... thanks god!!!) I'm planing on buying 9m North Neo kite for waves between 18 and 30 knots.
Would the 9m be the best choice for me?... planing on buying a 7m in the few next months?
Thanks for your comments!!!

A lot depends on the board you are using. Gotta tell us what your ride is.

I'm half your weight and I have the same quiver, except I also have a 15m. Yes, the more the better, I feel a difference of 2 Knots average can use a meter more or less. For your size, get an 18 and a 19m, rather than 7&9. But above all listen to your gut. We all ride differently and prefer different settings.

...which, as the utter noob I am, and other than the OP not even riding a wave board, entitles me to give qualified advice on wave kites. Isn't it bunny.

Why would he even consider an 18m and a 19m, when he has a 17m. LW kite?
Im sizing down and loves it
. Went from a 17m fat lady to a 13,5m XR4, and to be honest I can kite in about the same wind conditions.
I would pick an 10 or 11 for your weight.

Between 18 and 30 knots a 7 en 9 meter combo sounds fine. If you're going to stick with one...I'd go for the 9

Sure, to each their own, dude. I have a girlfriend who only has a 10 & 12 (she is even smaller than me!), but goes out in 8 Knots and says she's doing it for the workout, to burn some calories on the water just dickin around. I personally need a little more excitement than that, but I respect her choice!

I sit at 195lbs and ride a 9m in those conditions so you would be perfect on the 9m Neo. I wouldn't bother with a 10m as you won't be in need of the little bit of extra low end. I am in the same process as you are but I am opting for a 8/11m combo as our winds are on the lighter side here. I have a 5m storm kite that I am excited to use this fall. I really liked the Neo that I owned as it is a nice kite!

I''m not sure why screaming "bunny" or "you are a beginner" makes you so excited! It's infantile. And all of you mediocre kiters here trying to sound like you are the final authority on everything, please stop and think for a moment this forum isn't your personal promotion page and that others make different choices and get different kicks. Manners go a long way! If you like riding small kites, fine, just don't push others around to accept your choice like it's Muhammad's commandment.
