(Sorry for the aggressive pic)
I need some good travel tips from the people that travel, not like the pros that get tax write offs for travel expenses or kite companies who pay for their travel budgets.. but true blue travel tips. So, I wrote a blog on it!!!!
I have been traveling 4 years constantly with my kiteboard gear and these are my tips.. so let me know if they are shit and what should be added!!
Comment on my blog and tell me your thoughts or travel tips and add to my knowledge. Hope this helps any new travelers that are looking for advice.

Lots of great info, I like to travel with more kits and a larger range of kites. Just depends on the location.
I have the new Nobile Zen split board and love it. They also have a new bag that is a little shorter but also little thicker and works well.

Thanks Sedluk!! Hope it was helpful.. I hope some others might have some good info to share too.
Having a larger quiver of kites is definitely helpful. Do you use your Zen board always or just for travel?

Getting a girlfreind into travelling and kitesurfing really helps. We usually travel with 4-5 kites 1 pump 2 TT' s, 1 strapless, 2 harnesses, 2 bars, 2 shorty's and some small spares like spinnacker tape and stuff to fix a bladder with maybe a spare depower line. Generally adding up to about 32kgs... And ofcourse the Strapless board in a separate bag. Stuffed into a Twin Ammobox. Flew with a big gulfstate airline from europe to Philippines and we didn't get charged a single penny.
Flying within europe we'd split the bags in two and pay the extra fees for it if deemed necessary. But usually no more than 20 euro's per item.

Having a GF helps for sure with your quiver, as you can add some smaller kites to it. Plus a few other additive perks too

I have been traveling so I have only used my Zen board once at the local beach.
I usually travel with two split boards, one of them for lighter wind. Right now I am in Martinique and then St Barths, I will be gone for a month so I have a 6,9,12,15,18 & 21M. If I was going to drop a kite it would be the 18M, usually I can make the 15M or 21M work in lighter winds. I travel with the Nobile board bag and two dive bags and a large hard case for my bicycle. I always have to rent a van.

Wow that is some serious gear to travel with man!!! That is impressive...
So, you would say your new splitboards work well and you have not seen any type of performance decrease?
Thx for the info!!
John
