Based on your XT V9 model description:
"The XT model will come with the pivoting dyneema leash (1) and the new 3D EVA pad (4). The new frame (3) is modified and can host the sliding hook (2) and make it fix."
1- Can you give us more details on how the new frame can host the sliding hook and make it fix "on the fly" ? Can you supply some pictures/video of this procedure?
2- Why is it worth upgrading from XT V8 to Xt V9?
3- When will these be ready to ship?
Thanks @jaystore.

Gamechanger in that no shops will want to stock all that. Why not have 3 sizes and a voucher for a paint pen?

The blue and yellow colours are sold with XTC harnesses or for specific customer request. The standard colour is black/grey/magenta.
The 3 sizes fit all harness sizes.

There's a lot of weird quasi-hostility that always seems to pop up in these kinds of threads. I bought a Dynabar XW8 recently on the recommendation of friends who had been using them. I am
very happy with my purchase: it required no time to adjust to the sliding hook - it immediately felt "right". Much more comfortable for wave riding on a SB, made the harness (an Ion Apex) less inclined to ride up or twist. Noticeably more comfortable for body dragging & for walking upwind with the kite. I didn't have any problem with the distance to the CL. Also surprising was how normal it felt when jumping - not noticeably different from a fixed hook. I spent 4 weeks kiting every day with the Dynabar - definitely easier on the body than my previous fixed hook set-up.
I very much doubt that there would be abnormal premature wear on a Jay harness - that just sounds like a marketing pitch for the ability to buy 5 separate components, which is nevertheless a plus, at least in theory.
I agree FWIW that "Jay" doesn't seem like a cool name for a harness ... & odd, as the letter J doesn't really exist in Italian. Where does the name come from?

The XT model will come with the pivoting dyneema leash (1) and the new 3D EVA pad (4). The new frame (3) is modified and can host the sliding hook (2) and make it fix. If you already own a DYNABAR V8, the V9 frame is compatible with the V8 sliding hook.
The sliding leash (11) is included in the package.
The fixed hook and hook locker are not supplied any more but can be bought as an accessory.

Thanks @jaystore.
The new frame has wider slots in the center to allow the sliding hook to pass throught but you have to remove pulley and lock with the screw on the back. It can't be locked on the fly.
This modification was done to eliminate the fix hook and reduce the price.

Thanks for your response.
Making this process "on the fly" would definitely be a great advance for future versions as no tools would be required to change setups while riding on certain conditions : more safety.
So when are we going to be able to purchase the V9 bar?
Cheers.

The DYNABAR XTC V9 is alive.
Check it here.
DYNABAR XC V9 carbonfiber composite is the answer to kiters who love body freedom given by our exclusive sliding hook solution but require light equipment. Thermoformed EVA pad doesn't absorbe water and the weight difference between dry and wet product is insignificant. The design of this equipment is unique and keeps all the features needed by modern kitesurfing styles. Sliding hook can be added as an option but hook bungee can't be used.
