So they've made a ride engine copy. How is that a game changers? news flash. it isn't.

Ditto. And they even copied last year's Engine. This years model is significantly different. Imitation may be flattering, but it's still old news.

We won't have kitesurfing if someone didn't invent the wheel by looking at scarabs rolling their ball of dung.
Thanks to scarabs, in 2008 we brought DYNABAR sliding hook system to market.
Actually we have all brands following our path.

About history
In the 2nd half of the last century sailing harnesses started to have composite components.
In 2013 we started the tests of Adjustable Back Support and used fiberglass battens and PVC layers to stiff the back.
In 2014 RE started the challenge of full rigid harness back and since then other brands like us designed same solution.
in 2015 we decided to push ABS a step forward and exploit semi-rigid external shell to design a new construction process.
Same year we brought to market PowerBand and made many flex harnesses a FlexTech solution.
Here we are, FlexTech 2.0 composite and sliding system gives the best comfort compared to more rigid composites (even using fix hook).
Either DaKine and Mystic are following this path, DaKine C1 is on the market and Mystic will come soon with LEGEND X .

About material we used the best, no compromise.

Since 2008 we designed DYNABAR "wider" than any other spreader bars to limit harness compression, we made it in SS AISI316.
Webbing part uses 40mm+30mm PA buckles 350Kg breaking load or super safe SS AISI316 cam buckles 500kg breaking load.
DYNABAR XT V9 with sliding-fixed hook, 2 features in 1 product.
DYNABAR XW V9 with sliding hook and sliding safety leash on two separate dyneema lines.
DYNABAR XC V9 featherlight carbonfiber for kiters who accept no compromises.
No neoprene, 3D EVA padding and front pad, no water absorption.
First in the market all harness's wearable parts can be replaced.

About "copy&paste" claims
RE was even reselling DYNABAR XT V6-V7 with their custom harnesses and afterwards "thanks to scarabs, designed a sliding hook spreaderbar..."

These are facts
We are proud of FTC 2.0 technology and of our contribution to this fantastic sport, we will never accept any attempt to discredit us.

Well the latest harness looks good. But it certainly isn't a "game changer" as the title suggests. Its an improvement on existing designs.

The "Game Changer" Title is an obvious attempt to cause attention by contradiction. Kite Forum has taught that any "Game Changer" claim of last year has caused at least 15 pages of discussions, leaving the subject on page 1 for weeks. Kite Forum has also taught that any "normal" posting presenting new gear / a company's gear range, has been widely ignored.

And up you go again, lil Jay Bar :D

Non-water absorbent materials. That's a game changer!

I think it's a good idea, I own a Ride Engine, and although I think it's an excellent harness, it still slides up because my stomach tends to shrink when i'm out there.

I'm just not digging the graphics, that red yellow and black looks like it belongs on a hockey jersey.
