Is this the picture of the record jump? He probably went up from the second wave visible. His line length is visible as red circle. Did he use 21m lines said on another topic? If you remove the parallax this is not a 27.5m jump. Woo-maginary shit. New "World" Record should read New "Woo" Record..

Yep the Woo is Bullshit
They bring out an updated version + a waterproof case (because they die from water - even though water proof)

And Suddenly people are jumping bigger ? Wooo legandary !

Why are you so negative? What is your problem?

People are jumping higher because the Woo is a big stimulatation to jump higher then your friends.
Capetown was the past weeks the place to be for new PR's.

This is wrong. People jump higher because they're getting better, not because there is a woo on their board. The more you practice the better you will be, this is just a fact of life.

If you want to see how high you're jumping just open up your eyes and look, if you're jumping higher you will know because you are higher off the ground. You don't need a machine to tell you this.

Hmmm, dont agree about "People jump higher because they're getting better"

For those not good nor experienced, yes, but... those "max" jumpers who has jumped for years, are maybe and maybe not motivated even more now when you can measure the height and "compete" (agree with Hulb here), but NOT because they are getting noticeable better IMO, but there is a goal that can be measured now so they are aiming for this target of course, and we will see higher jumps.

Also, there will be some errors in the measurements, some might be freak errors of significant size (and noone really wants to dig deeper into the accuracy and errors, which I dont understand working with measurements full time at work ?) and give wrong results, would agree somewhat with ShaveTheWhales - but we know this is the case, and might still be able to count on the average jumps if comparing (but noone does that ha haa).

Anyways - a lot of fun and motivation now, not present as directly earlier

Yeah you are absolutely right, nobody is ever going to jump higher unless they attach a woo to their boards... Good job

Hmm. The first times I was very dissapointed when I used the Woo. I really thought my jumps were much higher. :(
Woo told me the truth!

That's because you have a distorted view of reality
