The resulting 2016 annual average global temperature anomaly is +0.50 deg. C, which is (a statistically insignificant) 0.02 deg. C warmer than 1998 at +0.48 deg. C. We estimate that 2016 would have had to be 0.10 C warmer than 1998 to be significantly different at the 95% confidence level. Both 2016 and 1998 were strong El Nino years.

This is what you got after 20 yrs of Global Warming, 0.02deg statistically insignificant warming.
The GW gravy train comes to an end Jan 20. Unfortunately, I will be away to witness it, first hand in real time.

We have Sun Activity and AMO (Atlantic Multidecadal Oscillation) flipping towards cooling so if the temp graph doesn't start to point down you win on the other hand if it does that means CO2 doesn't control temps just like during entire earth history. Now is (not) different.

Speaking of strong winds which was what the thread was ostensibly about....I'm in Turks and Caicos and it's been blowing 30-37 mph for three days - steady as a train lowering to 20-27 for the next couple of days.
This Long Beach has to be the best place I've ever seen to learn to kitesurf. 3+ mile beach with side onshore, shallow water with no waves, and most importantly, almost no sunbathers or beachcombers. Crystal clear water- fine grain sand. And if you can get on a boat or launch from the north end of the island, totally protected isolated cays. Probably no news to those in the know but I sure wish I knew about this place twelve years ago.

Eh, I don't ask you to give money to anyone nor to do anything, like to join a sect, and most importantly I don't try to silence anybody. You couldn't get it more ass backwards.
