I personally do not like the neoprene on the Shinn straps.

You are probably aware but you can adjust the tension on the neoprene of the Shinn straps by changing there attachment to the fixing bolt?
I personally love the new setup - I've got quite narrow size 8 feet but with both 6mm Atan (Scotland) or 3mm Xcel boots they are great.

They are a bit tight with boots but i try to never ride boots if i dont absolutely need to. I also use the race strap on my free race boards.

How do you fix them on a twintip?
With bolts like any other strap.

The "NSI Proton Kiteboard Footstraps" as shown in your link?

Yes, I tried using the lower of the two holes but that still stretches the neoprene cover.

UK Size 11 and 6or7mm Xcel boots, too narrow for me.
Anyone know if the Naish Apex have better width settings?

I still haven't found anything more comfortable and grippy than the old style Ocean Rodeo Bliss straps & pads. Apex wasn't even close and I've tried every iteration of Shinn except for the current one. I'm bummed that you can't buy the old OR Bliss setup any more. If anyone who once rode the OR Bliss has found something better, PLEASE let me know. BTW, I never ride booties - barefoot only.
