Hi Folks
I am travelling with Eurowings from Hamburg to Puerto Plata in February and have payed 140€ per leg for my boardbag (280 in total)
already pretty expensive...but my problem is that there is no way for me to find info of how heavy the bag can be. If it´s only 23kg I´m still kind of f*cked and need to order and pay for an additional piece of luggage..
I am bringing my wife and 4 kids so I´m already quite in pain over the travel cost, so if anyone knows if I can actually fill all my stuff in the Boardbag @ 32 kg this would be highly appreciated.
(Of course I will travel light with 2x kitewave boards, 1 surfboard, 1 foilboard + foil and only 3 kites and one inflatable SUP - I cannot live with less)

So just for the record: I called Eurowings and was told that the boardbags could weight up to 32kgs, but the assistant would not sent me anything in writing regarding this - So I will have to try this and fight if I will get a additional penalty.

how do you fit all this stuff in one bag?
I always wonder why my stuff is soo heavy...bag, 1 small TT, 2 kites (18s), 2 bars, two harnesses, accessories)...that is 32 kg!
Well, if callcenter said 32 kg, and there is no extra info on the website (I checked too and didn't see anything), insist on 32 kg for sure! You pay good money for it! Plus you pay several tickets...so don't give in on them!
But, why 140 Euro? I saw this (left EU, right international)
