here is turbine 13m 2017 over the turbine 15m 2017 > both kites have the same lowend on 27m lines.
15m more c-shape, 13m have a another kite-design more to a foilkite design...
cheers tom

How is the depower on that 13? Can you hold it down in the low 20s if needed? Particular for snowkiting...even on a teens some big gusts can come through.

no problem, the depower works so much better than 15,17,19m turbine or 14m rally
same than old turbine 2012/2013 it have also good depower.
my friends missed the shape from old turbine 2012/2013 for 15,17,19 hope for 2018 ^^

Yes, I have been wondering the same, ie. especially the weight of 11 and 13meter versions.

Thanks!

the weight from 15m,13m,11m is correct http://surfforum.oase.com/showthread.php?t=166320
why 15m 100g lighter than 13m i dont know, i have no infos from slingi.
the weight from 11,13,15 turbine is very similliar than flysurfer boost
but turbine 13m, 11m ,9m,7m,5m have much more projected area m² than boost2...

Oh, those are quite disappointing weighs for smaller sizes. While 15m is exactly same weight (8.8 lbs.) as 2015 15m model, the 11m is 8.2 lbs. which matches my 11.5m Kahoona and I was hoping to stay closer to 6.2 lbs. of my 10m Rally 2012.

Could you repost the weights here? I couldn't find them in the thread you linked. (great photos, BTW).

I believe the 15 and up are made with lightweight contruction techniques. Intentionally reducing the weight of larger sizes.
Seem to recall reading that somewhere, anyway...

Gewicht: 15qm 4,0kg / 17qm 4,5kg / 19qm 4,8kg
Gewicht: 9qm 3,0kg / 11qm 3,7kg / 13qm 4,1kg

Having 15/17/19 in different construction is a weird move. I was hoping to see smallet lightwind kites for lighter riders and smaller foiling kites - which for both would demand of them staying in the air in very light winds.

C'mon Slingshot, I want new kites better than my 2012 Rallys!

I would also get rid of the rarely used 15m Contra (didn't use it at all in 2016) and use the 13m Turbine with the 146x46 Shinn King G as and when.

The 7m, 10m Rally is also a better traveling combo for me.
Changed my mind, going to stay with 7, 9, 12 Rally. I have an Airush Smart bar 5 on which I've put 5m Ozone extensions and taken off all the CL etc. stuff I don't use. On the widest setting this is 62cm = 24-1/2" which I hope will work fine with 29m lines.

Will use 29m lines with the 12m Rally and Shinn King G 146 x 46 when the wind is light. If it is OK from 10 knots + the Contra will go.
