This thread is amazing, "Horst Sergio" really has it figured out and he does a great job of explaining it.
He explains his kite packing. I have had good success when standing in the water, more difficult if just floating in the water.

Pre-inflate the wing on the beach before getting in the water. It will make drift launches much easier. You could use for example a cordless leaf blower.
