Mondial du Vent 2017 - The incredible edition for the F-One Team

What a Week !
We were looking forward to some action and we got plenty!
Starting with the qualifiers where we had 6 riders Mikaili SOL, Maxime CHABLOZ, Lazare GOURNAY, Théo FERMON, Robinson HILARIO and Nicolas DELMAS wanting to go through to the Elite league.
The conditions were rough, with the wind averaging 35 knots.
We have seen some incredible tricks, starting with Robinson who absent from the past tour, came back stronger than ever. Scoring 9,57 points with an incredible Slim Chance 7. Robinson showed us his determination to come back in the competition and that paid off as he qualified!
Back from a knee injurie 8 months ago, Nico showed some powerful riding, and loads of talent and motivation which has given him the first place of the Qualifier league's podium!
Our girl junior World Champion Mikaili, secured her place in the Elite league, she is however too young to compete in the WKL Tour yet!
We would like to congratulate Lazare and Théo for their participations. This was great practice for them and they are now determined to train harder to come back to the next Qualifiers next year ! Maxime our young World Champion, has who competed for the qualifiers and rode very well also did the Big Air competition and sent a huge mega loop! He is going home with his title and a whole lot of motivation for next year.

The big surprise of this competition was the come back of Antoine AURIOL on the competition scene. After 6 years Antoine got the 4th place of the Big Air competition at the Mondial du Vent !
Now, on to the Elite league, where Pauline VALESA, David TONIJUAN and Set TEIXEIRA were already qualified. The conditions were very gusty and created some difficulties to the riders. Set however managed to land some hish scoring tricks such as Slim 7 and great executed Heart Attack, which sent him to the 3rd place of the podium.

What a great week it has been, we have had the best action and we would like to congratulate all of our riders for their brilliant participations!
