Prescription sunglasses

I am currently using contact lenses but those are not good for the eyes when doing watersports, thus, I want to get some sunglasses with prescription lenses instead. Any recommendations? I like the LiP Typhoon, but I do not think they can be ordered with prescription lenses. Any thoughts?

I use Barz optics polarized goggles made for surfing ; I don't need
a prescription set yet , because i see fine far away. They make them
with a prescription lenses ; and all i'll say about them is i never got
a headache or broke them in crashes. I've crashed hard enough to loose
my fake leg on the bottom of lake Mohave !

For USA ; Murrays has them ; the prescription only fits the, (BLACK FRAMEs)

seaspec prescription surfing glasses - works really well and can pull off as regular sunglasses on the street. Got mine for $200

You could all so try daily lenses. That was what I switched to after I started kiting. I don't think it is a good idea to reuse lenses after being the water plus if you lose a lense it's not as costly to replace a daily vs a normal 2-4 week lense. I was afraid of getting an eye infection from dirty lenses from our brackish water.

No need to pay a fortune for prescription sunglasses. Get them for next to nothing from Zenni Optical. Pick one of these 7$ frames:

Add tinted lens, and AR coating (optional), and it will be delivered to you in about two weeks for about 27$ (or less) including shipping. You may pick polarized lenses ($30) or photocromic (19$) ones if you feel like it too... Add a strap like the on below, and also add a lanyard around your neck so you dont lose them if they fall.

I've been going with some sporty looking plastic frames fitted with photochromic (Transitions) lenses from Zenni Optical. Good prices, happy with the service and quality.

As things get darker out, I can continue riding and not have to come in to change to clear glasses when using the transitions lenses.

I keep them on my head with a snug piece of silicone RC aircraft fuel line and leash them to my suit with some kite line. The silicone is very grippy. The leash keeps them with you if it gets blown off your head in the worst wipeouts or if they get broken.

I find clipons can distort the view.

Thumbs up for Zenni. They are not up with my rather expensive day glasses but still excellent especially for the price. If you trash them who cares - I always have the next set already in the car .

The only one thing which did not work out for me was their hydrophobic coating which was flaking off after 1/2 year and then the lenses were a mess. Learned that.

Oh also secure the lenses with liquid super glue before you hit the water. I had one set pop out in a BIG wash

I would like to go to the link to find the pair of glasses but unfortunately it is no longer active... I'm going to buy a pair of sunglasses soon but I need your advice first. Do you have a replacement link that is active today?
