Low friction ring and shorter chicken loop installed. Now I need to try!
We are not sure reducing CL length and save 2-3cm it's worth, by using a different QR attachment saves more centimeters and is more simple.

About rings, we decided to respond to demand of "low friction sliding ring" and we are testing a new product like the ANTAL ring but in plastic.
It is designed to fit the CL tube and retain it to avoid unwanted exit from the ring and let the tube slip off when the QR is activated. This is the shape without retain system and as soon as we test it we will let you know.

About having the bar as close as possible to the body I remind wavers that the right style and position is this, the hand is far from the body almost all the time when surfing the wave.
A good trim of the bar can solve the depower issue.

Plummet,

Off topic a bit, but I've been exclusively on the dynabar since a newbie, what are your thoughts on the feel on a twintip? After a year on the water I went back to a fixed hook for a session and I couldn't tell that much of a difference. On a rope slider, I could feel easier tacks toeside and walking the beach upwind if you have to. I'm like you though, in which I don't ride toeside much....but riding at hard angles into the wind on the hydrofoil I think would be helpful on the slider.

Rope slider is awesome for toeside, even better on the hydrofoil toeside. Otherwise I dont see any advantage over hook for TT riding.

But I'm used to it now. So there is no disadvantage either.

Find it easier to twist my body around to counter any unwanted rotations when dangling.

I ride topside a lot more now, simply because it's easier

Just had my first session out on the new Jay XTC harness with the XT V9 sliding spreader bar very impressed no riding up of the harness sliding spreader worked excellent as usual as been using previous models for years now, it was flat water so no waves so on the TT worked great can’t wait to try it in the waves! :D
