Hello everybody, season of experience under my belt so loads to learn yet.
I am looking for light wind kite next size up from my 11m pivot that I could hopefully fly in 9 to 15 knots.
The board I am riding with it is 5'2 nugget which I like much so not aiming to swap it soon.
I was recommended:
- ocean rodeo flite 14,5m or 12m for my weight (150 lbs os 75 kg)
- ozone edge 15m
Kiting south of UK waters and moving to scotland by the end of this year.
Thank you for any in

Go for something light weight, maybe a one strut, like a North Mono or Naish Boxer or something.

I would look at the North Mono.
12m should be good I think, but you could also buy the 2017 model which has a 15m, but that sounds a bit big to me.

Try the Ride 14m, or the new Boxer..
Great in no wind, and fun to ride..

please have a look at Switchkites, I flew the 15.5m Helium V2, such a sweet kite and easy starter out of the water in lightwind, which is very important!, for a good price..please get it with for example an Ozone bar 50cm, and you will have a nice lightwind setup for a reasonable price
cheers dude

Honestly Take a look at the New F-one Breeze its so good! the 13m is the one to look at, we have one on demo at Fcwatersports and happy to let you have a fly. The new Naish Boxer is also worth a look, as is the New Airush Ultra. drop us a mail if you would like to chat about any of the above we are more than happy to help.

I am 225 pds and I love my 17m Flite with my 5'5'' Nugget. It rips upwind. The Flite is an amazing kite for the light wind. It turns fast for its size and it hangs in the air with almost no wind. At your weight, I think that the 14.5m Flite would be perfect. I am a North fan... but for ultra light wind, the OR Flite is hard to beat... if foil kites are not on your list.
Chears!

I think these guys telling you to go Mono strut are wrong. I have a Mono 12 and 7. Plus a 3 strut 9 and a 5 strut 12.
In think you should stick with a 3 strut kite. And beginner should stick with same kite model unless there is a lot of reviews saying the kite model in that size is bad. This is because kite models generally perform and behave similar.
So you should look at the pivot 14. At your weight and that board there's not much need to go bigger. Do some research on that kite.
Next choice is a 14-15, 3 strut kite. The OR flight 14,5 gets lots of positive reviews.
There's a number of good 14-15 m2 kites on the market from Naish and others.( If you r happy with the pivot why change?)
Edge is jumping and boosting machine according to reviews. Not all around they say, , but it would probably work good.
