If they would just have the kite factory dig out the prints for the 2008-2010 Waroo and sell them for $350; could be number 1 in the industry! Bring out a $99-$150 kite bar...
I'm up for a multi point inflation (not one pump) 2011 Best Kahoona with the only tweak being a wider trailing edge like on the 2013-2015. MSRP could be $375 and I would buy new.

Come to think of it, that may start to crowd up our beaches a bit......

There is a significant portion of kiters who don't buy into the latest hype. Therefore, Best could just keep updating colors on their 2015-16-17 TSs and Rocas ad-infinitum, and people would still grab them for a bargain price. I bet all kite vendors&manufacturers felt quite a pain last year during Best firesale.

This thread makes me sad.

It's been a joy following Best. Last time I counted I think I'd bought about 16-20 best kites before I moved on. It's been a trip of ups and downs from early on, and regardless of what you think of best today they've been a big part of the industry of kiteboarding. The early years were just insane. I think we're can all appreciate that.

Yeah me too I have been riding Best for 10 years on and off! I still have an old Waroo and a quiver of Roca's that I love. Sadly I think it's close to the end of the line for them too. One of my friend tried to order a Roca and they had no stock for months. I don't have any official info but it doesn't look good. At least Eleveight is carrying the torch with good products and service! Most people get into the kiting business because it's a passion the original team has been gone for a while and the bean counters tried to make it into a regular business and of course that didn't work!
