I have owned dozens of Best kites and I still have 6 of them (2008, 2013, 2015, 2016, 2-2017) I never had a issue with valves. I heard it did happen on a bad batch of 2015s but it's not a bad design of the valve it was a defective batch. I had issue with the stopper on the 2015 bar and they promptly send me new ones. This year I bought 2 new Rocas because the price was great and the kite is amazing. The 2017 valve is completely different so I doubt it will suffer the from same problems.
I now have Cabos from 2013, 2014, 2015 & 2017. Each year has a different inflation valve system. I haven't, so far, experienced any problems with delaminating valves. The 2015 kites have an inflation valve that is similar to, but slightly different from the 2014 & requires
major muscle power to successfully fit the valve cap - very odd.

Just to be clear: are we talking about problems with the strut valves de-laminating, or are we talking about problems with the inflation valve de-laminating ... or talking about some other problem with the inflation valve? I kind of like the 2014 twist lock inflation valve - I have heard the implication that there have been problems with them, but haven't experienced any myself. The 2015 valve is essentially the same but VERY tight to get on, which is a bit annoying.

All of them, i had one delaminated valve, next kite sesión another. Then i remove all the bladers and pull out all bladders valves easily by hand, without applying any heat...

I noticed that BEST must have had some new stock arrive this week. They were down to very limited sizes when I look last week, but they seem to have a wider spread of gear in now- and an extra 25% off for Black Friday.

Went through the process of ordering a kite/bar this morning. When you get to the checkout, it's says in fine print that the kite is not available and needs to be back ordered. Don't have the confidence to pull the trigger.

Yeah, don’t do it. Rumors keep churning and the company/owner continues to stay silent. Last I checked the size options were all over the place (like only having 16 and 6 for the TS) and I doubt that we will see much more from Best. Very sad story but hopefully some of the great people there pop up in other places..
