BEST have no kite designer, no board designer and no accessories designer. They are all at Eleveight. Their sales manager, and the marketing guy who came after me are also there. You can have all the CEO, CFO and admin staff you want, but no product and no pipeline is end game stuff for BEST

I'd say that the name has value, but only if you can bring with it the people who gave it that value and that ain't gonna happen because 95% of them have moved on.

Thanks sq, this is putting all the pieces together. The talent was what made BEST, glad to hear it is mostly intact, if no longer at BEST. Agreed, BEST as a shell, without the talent, just the management, is the WORST.

You can contact best directly or some online retailer. I think my buddy got them from that German website, they had a combo deal last year. I think he got GP 9 and 11 for less than $1000.

That's what I was wondering too and the secret seems to be part of the buzz.
I wouldn't be surprised if (one of) the boss was French.
The logo is related to the brand name meaning and available on the Web.

What happened finally to best? Are they officially bankrupt? I have ordered a TS on the 8th still no email with shipping information and the only reply I received is:

Due to a high amount of orders in the last weeks, the availability and delivery time are uncertain.

And they will refund you, i was speaking with person Priscilla , and and she told that they hawent nothing in stock , and no information about shipping...
I found that www.kiteboarding-best.de is finishing their work too, my advice refund and look for other kite, its a pitty because i loved TS. Next stop north kiteboarding or lets wait to see Eleveight
