any website with 12m TS v6 or v5 available that anyone knows about?
There's a used 2016 and 2017 12m TS to be found here...
http://www.relaunchsports.com/category/ ... rding.html
Note: Best USA's HQ was located in SF and Relaunch Sports (also from the Bay Area) had relations with them and the local rep, so some of these kites may be their old demos.

Do I still have warranty on the Best kites I bought from retailers? (I am in EU)
I'm in the US, but I believe it's the same in the UK. Warranties are provided and supported by the manufacturer, not the retailer. If the company is gone, so is the warranty.
However a retailer can offer some type of extended warranty, but that is generally independent of the manufacture.

Just found this information as well on a German website. Pureactionsports wasn't the company owning Best kiteboarding ? If it is the case, it looks like the company is definitely over and liquidated for now...

https://www.firmenwissen.com/en/az/firm ... _GMBH.html
I spoke with one of the guys that works with Best last week and he acknowledged that the German company has closed but that Best is still very much in business. Pure Action Sports group is a network of several national companies and the Spanish and American companies remain unchanged. Yes the German company has closed and because it was just a cost centre and not buying or selling anything. So closing the german company is just part of making the larger business more flexible and efficient.

He also confirmed that Best have a new designer and with new kites (TS & Roca) and an all new Armada & Spin on the drawing board, Best will be making an official response soon re going back into production this spring.

i personally wish them well and look forward to seeing the new kites :)

Thanks for the info!
Let's see what they come up with.

What do you guys think...will they have a chance as premium brand or should they go back to low price?

Would be nice to see another lower price manufacturer. The "premium" market is so saturated and prices just keep getting more ridiculous. The most recent best kites were pretty good despite the quality control issues they had, so it would be great if they went back to a direct model, since it seems like they've lost their distribution chain to eleveight already anwyay.

I always thought they made great kites and is was a mistake when they started trying to be more of a premium brand. They might go back to that model but I don't believe the company will ever be the same as the people left.

I agree.
IMO they would be top 3 brand if they stayed low priced like before.
“Ride with us” was more like “die with us”.

Let’s see.
