Hi guys
I am about to buy the fone Trax HRD 136 x 40.5 or the 1.37 x 42.
I am 71kg i have been ridden a Jaime pro until now and I would like to switch into a new board.
Has anyone ridden the 1.36 or the 1.37?
I know my weight is for the smaller one but I am worried a bit, because I have had a knee surgery, I would like it to have a bit more flex and more stable.
Does anyone have an opinion about the spray? I ride only in choppy conditions and it is important, not to splash to much water on your face all the time....
I really would appreciate any help because I can not find a trax to test around here to how it rides.
Why don't you look into flexier boards to begin with? Xenon Rayo for instance? Or the above-mentioned Monk? Trax is really on the stiff side of things - not the board I'd pick if I was looking to ease the load on my knees. In terms of sizing - 137 will be too large for you - even 136 is pretty big for a 71kg rider.

I have send an email to f one to propose a flexier board, I explained my knee problem, but they still suggested the trax.
Is it stiff like the Jaime or stiffer?
Have you ridden it?

I haven't ridden a Jaime, but Trax is a fairly stiff board - even though it's a very smooth-riding board size for size - there are other models out there that are a lot easier on your knees.

I have ridden several trax the previous years and got the same weight. Had been riding the 135*39 Till Last Summer and changed to the 136*40,5 in october Due to changing from kites with more to Less grunt. (Evo --> Bandit) I am super happy with the size and 137 will be def to much in my opinion.
If you Want a softer board, Buy the trax lite tech instead of the HRD. Same Shape But Not that stiff.
