Been using a seat harness since 1999. Want to go a waist harness for foiling and light wind.
I am 6 ft 5 and weigh 240 Pies.
Are there any Waist harnesses that don't ride up to your TITS??

Ride engine does the job for me. There might be more out there. (Semi-)hardshell harnesses are made by various brands, nowadays.

Wear a thick impact vest and nothing will ride up that far. I use a Dakine Surface vest with a Dakine Pyro harness and don't have any problems with riding up.

Ocean Rodeo Session, Mystic Star hybrid harnesses. Get a sliding spreader and you'll be set.
It's never riding that's the issue, it's falling over and getting dragged that makes the harness ride up on me . . .

I agree with kamikuza. The sliding setup makes a massive difference, but it still rides up when bodydragging, especially when powered. An impact vest helps some, but it's also in the way when you're trying to slide the harness down again. In my case, anyway.

the waist harness that won't slide up is the one that fits your body perfectly
even then it will still slide once in a while and you will have to push it down. if you ride with proper technique it happens less often, and you can just get used to using one hand to bring it back down a few cm to where it should be

Yeah if you lean back properly, any harness won't ride. But on crashes and body drag it's inevitable.
I second on Ride Engine, if you make it tight and make sure the straps are locked properly, it won't ride at all. In extreme case it'll move slightly and you can push it down. But if you fail to make straps tight and locked, it'll be worse than normal harness since it doesn't have a lower pull strap.

+3 On the Ride Engine. I used an OR Session for years and it was great, but finally switched to RE and love it. The hard shell is SO much better in the back support department and the lighter weight, although I thought originally it would make no difference, is EXTREMELY noticeable. And very nice.
On the RE the tightening system leaves a lot to be desired, there's really no good way to get it snug enough after you hook in the bar. The solution is easy and convenient though. Tighten the harness to where you know you need it with the bar unhooked, lock off the straps, and never touch them again.
I put my leash on the right hand bar loop and use it like a tire iron to lever the loop over the bar on the hook. Super nice and snug. No ride up.

I'm really happy with the Manera EXO. Super comfortable and great lower back support.
