And to be fair, not everyone can buy the same sunscreen around the Planet.

I've never heard of Mike Adams, and can guarantee that >95% readers of this forum never did. Same for Raw...

I think the Australian Cancer councils own branded sunblock - recently changed its ingredients as one of those was found to possibly cause cancer.. the new one is ok.

And by "long run" I mean on a daily basis, like every day - all year long.

To this date I haven't experienced a single sunscreen after which my skin would feel oily and I wouldn't have a burst out of pimples. And somehow I trust what my-own skin is telling me.

At latitude mid to upper 20's UV is very dangerous especially in summer...so i tell the doc that i avoid the sun like the plague and ride later in the afternoon.... 2-3 hrs before sunset
Same can be done in the morning ride until 2-3 hrs after sunrise.

Totally agree. I won't vouch for everyone, but as fun as riding in tropical paradises is - my happy hour is when I can do it with no sunglasses or sunscreens. 2 hours just before the sunset are golden!

Hostile crowd....lol! Not saying all, but many sunscreens have toxic ingredients because they have been found to cause melanoma. Hence many are changing.
