Back when I picked up my 2015 carbon Trax I was hesitating between it and the Shinn's Bronq which just came out. At the end the choice came down to delivery times.

Fast forward about 3 years, I unloaded all my F-One gear due to... whatever reasons... My main board now is a regular construction board which rides better and is lighter than the carbon Trax was. Just recently a friend was selling that same BronQ that I passed on in favor of the Trax and which I couldn't resist picking up if only for testing...

Long story short - I'm pretty much blown away by how light the BronQ is and how well it rides. Really regret having gone with F-One back then. No, Trax isn't a bad board, but it isn't worth the money they are asking for it, especially for the carbon one. A total rip-off based on substance-less hype.

Is it only weird for me that on the Fone website, the Signature Carbon is heavier then the Mitu carbon?
(the Signature has strap inserts, which is extra weight)
The Signature also has 5 fin boxes instead of 3 on the Mitu.

Never believe the weight claims of any manufacturer. Apart from that the Extra weight on the Mitu is probably due to the beefier construction and extra stringers. Freestyle boards need to be strong!

Just received my new 5'6'' carbon signature, not sure what it weighs (not much) but it is significantly lighter than my 2017 carbon Mitu 5'6''.

F-One needs to learn what "unique" means. Being able to highly adjust how your C-Kite performs/reacts is nothing new *cough VEGAS FOR YEARS cough*

And what the hell does "we are constantly trying to reduce the lateral forces you feel when kiting" (Bandit video) mean? I know they are a french company, but hell does their copywriting sound like verbal masturbation.

3 pulleys too...

Sorry but having ridden all of those there are unique things about all those kites that doesn't help performance in other aspects. To have something that works super well for freestyle you give up surf ability. To make it as big air and beginner friendly you give up surf and freestyle attribute.

Are you saying that all 3 kites have unique qualities and don't overlap? What in your opinion is the closest kite in the North range to the latest Bandit? The stated uses of each of the kites including the Rebel don't seem to match the kite selector "style table" on the North web site. It's not clear to me which kites does what. I'm not a rich man therefore I prefer to buy 1 "all round" kite than 3 or 4 including the Rebel.
