I watched the finals live it was boring. Woo ruins everything. 70% for height and best kiters in the world are woosting megaloops. Backflips front flips one footers all scored lower than a woosted megaloop.
be styling. 1) don't woost. 2) don't let others woost 3) don't let a contest be won with a woost
The best megaloops of the day were either before or after the contest when they didn't have to worry about height

I watched all stream. I think was to gusty and to hard conditions. Everything saying fact that Nick Jacobsen (who won king of air 7 months ago) didn't found any moment to jump during 12 minutes heat, so gusty and hard was there. The Wind was about 40 knots with gusts to 60 knots, tide 1.8m! Lot of them rode with 9,8 meters, very overpowered. In general was a little to boring sometimes. Dutch riders was in all tops. Anyway thanks redbull for organizing this every year. Waiting king of air 2018 in January.

They were so overpowered, it was really onshore and there was crazy sweep. Super tough conditions. Watched enough to see state of the art kites rattling, surging and jellyfishing all over the place. We're any actually on 9m kites !? Mortals are overpowered on 7's in 40 knots and there looked to be massive gusts. Amazing to see those loops but wait for an edit. Saves watching heats with 3 out of 4 riders failing to put up a score. You know it's tough when?

NJ broke his board in the second round when he borrowed a 7m kite.
The megaloop competition was not 'woosted' so I'm not sure what theprevious poster is on about. Woo comp was extra. Akkersdijk won highest of NL by 0.1 from a local at a different spot
