Yeah the evo always comes out later. Although now that the rebel is 4 lines the speculation is that the evo is shifting it's purpose a bit in the lineup.

I'm curious how the new Rebel compares to the 2017 Evo, I'm coming from a SB and I would love something a bit more responsive/playful.
I wasn't considering the Dice since I don't do any unhooked.

Well from what I can gather from reading all I can find on the new rebel (I won't get to ride it for another three weeks or so I think), it will be nothing like the 2017 evo. Has same rebel characteristics as before more or less.

The 2018 evo with three struts will have to be more playful. we will see.

Other way around. Would need to ride smaller. Its when he puts tension on the lines (loading up during a gust/ getting ready to send it) that the kite seems to pinch in at the front. Thought it was initially just the tired 2014 Dice we were flying and spent time rejigging the bridles back to factory lengths but it was the same on the 2016 Dice too.

Admittedly a factory fresh Dice may be fine as both of these were used (6 months light use on the 2016 and heavily used 2014) but if 6 months is all it takes to stretch them ....

Nice kites though. Happily have a go on a mates Dice whenever I get the chance.
