OMG so my kite that was professionally fixed by airtime has valves de-laminating. it lasted for a long time but literally the valve has separated from the white sticky stuff. it is the deflate valve. my question is how do i get the white sticky foam that airtime uses off of my bladder so i can reglue or use another airtime replacement valve without tearing my bladder. its on there so good i cant get it off without fear of damaging the bladder. i dont think i can reattach or glue on top of it and get a good seal. any advice would be appreciated.

Aquaseal? Try it and let us know if it sticks!

Cut it out. Tear Aid patch. Cut new hole. Attach valve.

Airtime sucks imo, I don't buy used kites that have them. Rubbing alcohol. I usually use a paper towel and gloves. For stubborn jobs, I soak in alcohol.
And sometimes I try soaking in hot water. Get all of that airtime crap off.
Aquaseal for glue, Preferably with stock valves.

So, the secret to getting the sticky stuff off anything isn't rubbing alcohol, it isn't goo-b-gone or any of those things. It is Trader Joe's citrus orange air freshener. If you can't get that, it is also sold under the Air Therapy brand. It is the only stuff I have found that really works. Spray it on generously, leave for a few minutes and it turns the sticky stuff into jelly that you can then scrape off. It makes removing surfboard traction pads a piece of cake. Having said all that, I don't know if it will harm bladder material, so if you can, try it on some scrap bladder first.

Glued from inside super successful. 2 hours and still nice and tight full of air. No way I was gonna get that airtime bs off without ruining my bladder.

The adhesive on the bottom of the foam is rubber based so you can remove it with alcohol. If you have access to 99% alcohol it will work best. Soaking a Q-tip or paper towel with alcohol and then working the edge of the Valve Trap is how we do it.
Anything harsher than 99% alcohol and you run the risk of damaging the bladder material (TPU).
