Bolonia had quite some size, too. Side-offshore, I was on 5m. Unfortunately the waves broke pretty close to the beach, not much room

The kitesurfer had the wave first, so his wave.
BUT, whenever possible it is good etiquette to give the wave to surfers, who can not navigate as much nor get that many waves - so I think it was good to see both getting the wave here

Riding along like him looks big fun!
I wonder what the surfer thought or said...pretty sure he wasn't happy about that...

Maybe not happy, but the surfer would have known that there was a kite surfer around and should have looked properly before dropping in.

There is no way a surfer could have ridden that initial section, it was breaking SO fast that the kite surfer must have been going 30+ to keep ahead of it!
Surfer in fairness probably didn't see him coming at that speed. I bet he felt the spray as he was faded from behind!

and no way that is 4m...
