go to Capetown - show your skill/balls :cool2:
I wish!
Hard to get it to happen with 2 children and a wife that doesn't fancy kitesurfing 😁.
Capetown is perfect for that! family time till 15:00. daddy time till 19:00.

Was that aided by loops? Kite dived way down? Then don’t worry about Cape Town. No loss! Stay with the kids! Wiser!

Wanna make a shout-out for Ozone Edge V9
Top three jumps according to Woo: 17.3m(9.8sec) 18.3m(8.8sec) and 19.6m(8.6sec). This on flat water.
What a load of Woo Bullshit - on ypur app you can report dodgey jumps..

You do realise the pros Dont get anywhere near that on flatwater !!!   :jump: :thumb:

the pros jump big with a big assist from........wind. Woo has made many people learn how to boost efficiently and properly without kickers or neccesarily super strong wind. Its amazing if you been following woo, the improvement all regular posters have made over the last 2 to 3 years of posting......guys today are jumping bigger than ever.......redefining what can be done where, with more or less wind......kickers no kickers. and big or small kites!.........what one once thaught isnt possible...now is......the game has changed!

thanks woo (although konstantin needs to get one....)

I don't agree. There are a number of false Woo data. HUGE number. I have no idea how can anyone start a sesh, and jump instantly 11m in front of my eyes according to Woo. It.just.did.not.happen.

The ~16m jump on my local never happened as well. It took 1 year for Woo to remove the jump from "all time" tab after we complained.

Sorry. The increased height resulted from Woo ver2. I wonder how ;) That way I'll never jump that good with my ver1.

Yes for sure there are spurious jump data on occasion.

But for the most part I believe woo riders now only focus on jumping. They focus all efforts and equipment in the pursuit of height. They now go out silly overpowered. Riders are jumping bigger. Some kites are even designed with the WOO in mind such as the Ozone Edge V9.

Here,
yesterday on my local, my results:
IMG_0301.PNG
The first 3 jumps did not happen (did not track any more after 15mins). Particularly the first one. Can Woo explain this please?

And I have a number of examples from other kiters. Actually, anyone can check others data. Please do.

The numbers are soooo exaggerated, that is not fun any more. It is pure exaggeration.

Yes, it might keep pushing the boundaries, but just because some guys get 600 followers on Woo to crave on this numbers.

Good on them tho.

I'd suggest contacting Woo direct. Their after sales service is rather good.

In comparison with a PIQ they are relatively consistent.

One thing I do know about the woo or such devices it does 'out' those who think they can jump big, but can't!

For example if we calculate average jump from OP's screenshot it is 1300m/124jumps = 10.5m/jump. It is very unlikely that you could really jump twice the height of your "average" jump.

Best jump units available at the market have GPS in-build so you can check your jump and it's trajectory that it is (jump) really happening on track-wise as well, not only IMU-unit reporting 19.6m jump. Does IMU-independent GPS track support the IMU calcs, you were moving enough speed (kinetic-potential energy formula), did you start going down-wind etc.?

Sonic-v2 18m2 -jump from Varberg example - track shows flying downwind, tag 14 should be positioned better where X is.. Don't know for sure if 5.3m was the real heigth but I see that track curved correctly and I had (airborned) speed 18km/h. So jump really happened.

So Mr. Bladesurfer, would you upload your jump session details with all 124 jump heights/hangtime visible? I don't know if this can be extracted from Woo site.
