Anyone tested how close you can use the SS3? I have the SS1 and it goes nuts if you are closer than around 30m

Has anyone got the inside tag yet?
I think it is not available yet?

Can anyone recommend a software besides the Vegas Pro he uses that could do it? Vegas Pro is pretty expensive...looking for something cheaper.
Hey Toby... you can use Filmora Wondershare for that. It´s about 60€ and easy to use.
But I have no comparison to Sony´s quality of stabilization.

Soloshot says 10 feet is as close as you can get to the camera - But I would say Toby's estimate of 30ft is closer. Curious how the unit is going to react to the inside tag, being that lots of footage will be within 10ft?

Thx, I tested that...had slightly better results with Elasty software...but...then have problems with software now...guess Filmora is the better choice now.
Google Sony Steady Shot. Just perfect...since the linse inside is like on a gimball...no problems at all even in 34 knots gusts...steady as can be...and always in focus!
Had other cams before...and this is just the best...around 1000 Euro for a 4k camera.
