So with the 5th line setup there is the high Y and low V, what does it mean for the kites flying skills? Pros and cons. Thanks

Difficult question needing much testing to find out possible small differences. I don't know why 5th line should be long at all, if it goes all the way to the bar it is an added nuisance and drag. If center of the kite must be supported by the bridle why don't do it like F-one does with the Furtive?
I'm currently working with single skin kite which has very complex bridle due to some practical difficulties of the structure. All LEI bridles seem so trivial and simple...
I'm sure there is many many things much more essential to how kite flies than 5th line and its split point height.

'Y point height' seems to be important for North. To the point they offer the wakestyle bar, which is shorter and a low Y, almost at the bar.
According to the manual, the lower Y would make the kite more stable, and turn slower, kind of like to 'park and ride' and then do the wakestyle tricks.

all depends on the kite. some kites like it high some dont like it some dont care. You have to experiment to find out. kite manufacturers never "cross dress". They only test their kites with the control bars sold for that kite, so it 's up to you to mix and match and figure it out, as the manufacturers don't know and the pros only ride properly matched gear. That wakestyle bar mentioned above for instance was only tested on the North Vegas, as that is their "wakestyle" kite, not for the rest of their range of kites.

5’th line or not but inability to grab/pull on ANY front line for self landing or light wind water relaunch is not a good idea as I see it.
On the other hand you can put camera line mount higher to capture more into picture.
I guess North and Core are ok with it. I can ride high-Y but won’t own one.
