Chop in between sets means less speed and less jump height. To the locals to he live there. What location gives the biggest height jumps?

With some swell the water is glassy with big waves with a large period, this makes cape town kite beach a dream location for this event. Big bay has apartments/buildings upwind which causes the gusty conditions.

In these conditions gusts can be very dangerous.
So glad they changed it !

Kitebeach and the area just upwind (Dolphin Beach) and downwind. This is where the current (29m) and previous Woo records were set by Joshua. Expect some serious height at this year's KOTA, I think there are a couple of riders (Nick, Kevin) that are going to try hard to break the record.

Honestly, I hope they’ll put on a good show, not wave around measurements... who cares. If it’s a spectacular jump that’s all the accolades it needs ... woo is helpful while training but not at the actual event

Apparently Red Bull feels different and 'cares'
since they have a "Biggest Boost" specialty award for the highest jump at KOTA. But yes it needs to be a mix of high jumps, megaloops and tricks thrown in between.

Which part of “specialty award” isn’t clear? Obviously KOTA cares about a more diversified experience and I’m positive they’ll whip out a good show
