That other thread was bringin' me down. So......best thing?
1 - A warm sunny day when you finally land the trick you've been struggling to land for oh so long.
2 - A brand new kite....that's just perfect.
3 - Riding perfectly powered.

Good idea
4 - Seeing a noob pal with their first upwind session. That bliss comes straight back for me.
5- A freebee day where it wasn't anticipated or expected - so you go in the off chance and wham...trees are moving
6-a trip or day where you are completely unsure if your friends are going to show up or not and just as you get ready to rig and ride alone the carload of fellow idiots arrives
7-thinking your the only kiter on earth riding a middle of nowhere patch of snow or bumble-f*()$ lake somewhere only to see another kite

Big air sesh with the pals. Also pretty amusing is to see your friend eat a big kiteloop and then whine how he is never going be able to have kids. Also when the kickers line up just perfectly

When it's big and I rip perfectly powered the 2nd or 3rd wave of an outside set that connects multiple sections and the first wave cleans up the pack of surfers sitting on the peak in semi blown-out surf. (and of course one of my crew is on the wave in front or behind).

The silence when you fly.
The perfect smooth liftoff from a wave lip.
The freedom.
The beauty of nature.
Meeting similar stoked people.
Being able to land daily a new trick.

Down the line frontside in head high+
Not fussy what plank I'm on or how I got there, when going downhill on water I just become one with the ocean and our beautiful planet.

Filming myself and then watching myself on film
A perfect strapless stretched out bottomturn followed by a smack to the lip. Love it. Carving in generel on surf- and foilboard is sweet.
Hearing kids yelling enthusiastically when you boost close to shore on off-shore spots. Must admit that makes me smile
The moment you get catched in a kiteloop
Hanging out with seals, flying fish, porpoise whales and what not
could go on and on

Best kiting experience is when you can finally jump over a few feet, enjoy the hang time and have the wherewithal to spot a soft, (seemingly distant) landing spot. I am almost 60 and it took me 3 years and a lot of kiting to get there.
