Plastic tubing for North Quad depower line

Postby ichabod » Tue Feb 06, 2018 2:59 pm

The North Wakestyle bar has plastic tubing around both depower lines. Has anyone tried adding something similar to a regular North bar? If so what did you use for the tubing? Seems like it would solve line wear issues and also stop that rope burn I constantly get when splitting my fingers across the middle of the bar.

Pneumatic hose is what you look for. Cheers, Seb

Be aware buddy, not sure if you meant grey depower or red safety line, I put see threw silicon tube over red safety line to prevent wear and my safety got jammed, could not release kite in over 30 knots, gladly friend helped me out and got my kite. I'll never again fiddle with safety, would rather spend 30 or 50 quid for new line once in a year or even two. Regards
