Knife - what to you think?

Postby Toby » Sat Feb 24, 2018 3:05 pm

Just saw this...

Easy to attach to the harness.

Has screwdriver on it, good to adjust screws from straps/boots and fins.
Bottle opener for after the session ;-)

And the knife...not sure which is better to cut lines...like this or the ones we know.

What do you guys think?

Cool looking tool for sure, would be nice to add too my SWAT harness

But for quick access and ease of use I will never be without my EEZYCUT.

Looks good. Might need a nub on the side of the blade so you can flip it open with one hand?

I like it, cheap as well. Can probably kill a shark with that knife.
someone should design one specific for kiters. Include a whistle and surfboard fin key

How do you find the EEZYCUT, cuts through lines without any issue?

it will rust in no time
cant use it with gloves
would take to long to get ready in an emergency
i would probably drop it before i got it ready because of clumsiness :o

I've handled one. Cheap piece of crap. The screw drivers will bend and deform and the knife blade doesn't hold an edge well enough for me to trust it to cut lines. EZcut all the way.

It cuts through anything. I have tested it on cord similar to the depower line, and it cuts that too. Very easily.

Only issue is finding a good pouch for it. No real luck there yet. Wish it slipped into the little knife pocket on my harness spreader bar.
