Anyone know which phones work with the woo 3.0 other than Apple or the expensive main brand android based phones?
I expect pretty much any android-based phone that released in the past two years is going to be capable of working with the woo. Pretty much all you need is Bluetooth and modern version of android
Basically Apple says that you should not be using your Apple Watch for Watersports.
Apple Watch Series 1 and Apple Watch (1st generation) are splash and water resistant, but submerging Apple Watch Series 1 and Apple Watch (1st generation) isn't recommended.
Apple Watch Series 2 and Apple Watch Series 3 may be used for shallow water activities like swimming in a pool or ocean. However, Apple Watch Series 2 and Apple Watch Series 3 shouldn't be used for scuba diving, water skiing, or other activities involving high velocity water or submersion below shallow depth.

Thanks Gunnar, their may be trouble ahead with that one.
Still like to know a watch that is android and 'fit-for-purpose'?
APPLE WATCHES
The minimal requirements for the WOO Sports Watch App is that the Apple watch should be waterproof (we recommend IP68 or better), this means that we don’t recommend using the Woo Sports Watch App with an Apple Watch Series 1 for water sports.
The minimal Watch OS version required is WatchOs 4.0 or above.
This Includes
WatchOS 4.0+
Apple Watch Series 2
Apple Watch Series 3
ANDROID WEAR SMARTWATCHES
The minimal requirements for the WOO Sports Watch App is that the smartwatch running Android Wear should be waterproof (we recommend IP68 or better). However most importantly is to check the user guide for your Smartwatch. The minimal Wear OS (Android Wear) version we recommend is Wear OS v2.0 or above.
This includes
LG G Watch R
LG Watch Sport
Moved Connect
Huawei Watch 2
Misfit Vapour
Polar M600
Casio Pro TREK Smart WSD-F20
Casio WSD-F10
Nixon Mission
and more…
NOTE: Make sure to check user guide on your Smartwatch before riding to make sure it’s eligible for the sport you want to perform>
Ugly as sin but IP68 and band is designed with watch housing that fits in from the back and can't pop out or break, so you're confident it will stay on in the water. I found one used on eBay for $120.
The reason Android smartwatches are inferior to Apple watches is b/c there hasn't been a new chip made for that product in over 2 years, whereas Apple has iterated and it shows with form factor and battery life. Hopefully with Google rebranding it as Google Wear is an indicator that new watches with new chips are coming soon.
Does it worry anyone that we haven't seen actual on watch footage?
Not even in the promo video.
How long is the last jump displayed?
It's also potentially an expensive learning curve as to which watch will have best result visibility.
Yeah a bit, but it should be ok I guess or else they won't release it I think. These watches all get better displays too, so in the brightest sunlight there should be a good watch out there!
For an Apple Watch you can buy a Catalyst protection and extra water resistant IP68 case -> https://www.catalystlifestyle.com/produ ... 6614510602
They also have a case for the homepod now I see, so you can bring the homepod to the beach lol.
And some protection like scuba divers used so if your wrist band breaks you won't loose your watch that easily. Something like this -> https://www.scubaland.co.uk/scubaland-n ... 74745.html It's just neoprene and they have all sorts.
