Good day!
Does anyone have any experience or insights to NP's 2018 harnesses Atom and Proton?
The Atom being a full hard shell, im fearing maybe it will be to restricive?
On the other hand the Proton maybe isnt supportive enough?
How are the fixed hook spreader and the construction?
I would much appriciate some feedback on these two models!
Thanks!

I purchased a Proton. The Atom felt too hard when I was trying on. I have used the Proton for 20 plus sessions now and it has broken in nicely. Straps are too long so I will cut 6 inches off these and reseal. It is a nice firm hardness on the lower back. I had an NP softer one from circa 2016 but this new one is good. I would recommend but it does take a few sessions to break in.

I bought the Proton due to the Atom feeling stiff, which is very light and comfortable, does not ride up at all. I did get the sweet camo colorway
https://www.npsurf.com/products/proton! It did take me at least 2 session to break it in and it felt much better after
. I wonder if it will keep the shape or resort back to it original form after I don't use it for while in the low wind season
