Do I need a wetsuit for la ventana Mexico next week?

I’ll be heading to La Ventana in Baja. Does anybody know if I should pack a wetsuit this time of year?

I would say at least a spring suit. I was there a couple of weeks ago and wore a spring with a long sleeve 1 mil top over that and was fine even on El Nortes. However, most people were in 3/2s. Since your location says Florida not New England, I would bring some rubber, but not more than a 3/2.

Just to confirm, 3/2 shorty would be fine. Perfect weather here now!!

Be aware however that this coming week is Semana Santa which is the major Spring holiday in Mexico - so beginning mid-week the beaches will be packed with campers and revelers. Good luck with that scene!!

Bringing rubber is always a good idea!

Speaking of wetsuits - I was there last couple of weeks of January for a week of El Norte and 2mm long sleeve shorty was always enough.
