Kiting North west Germany and Amsterdam

Traveling to these areas in May. Would love to get a chance to kite. Any suggestions for beaches and places where I can rent gear would be appreciated.

Renting gear in the Netherlands isn't that easy. I can't think of any place close to Amsterdam that rents kites. You might try to contact a kiteschool near Amsterdam for that.
Ijmuiden, wijk aan zee, Bloemendaal l, zandvoort are beaches that are know for there kitesurfing.
If you have more questions don't hesistate to ask them. I live in Amsterdam ;-)

You could try to rent in Germany. Many Shops will send you the Gear or you can pick it up. Dont know if they send it to hotels/hostels tho.
Just google for Kiteverleih and shoot them a message!
Other spots are Maasvlakte, Ijsselmeer (Hindeloopen, Workum,..)
Right now you can kite almost on every beach.

German coast North Sea, spots where I believe you can rent: Norddeich, Neuharlingersiel, Cuxhaven, Büsum, St. Peter Ording, island of Sylt (the most scenic and beautiful of it all, but also the most remote)
Baltic Sea: Pelzerhaken, Kiel, island of Fehmarn.

I believe you will need a certificate in most cases.

I live in southern Sweden.
Check out Splocs kite spots. You'll need a car, head up the coast, there's tons of spots. Bring a 4-6mm wetsuit, booties and probably hood and 2mm gloves. Water will be cold. Air can still be 10c.
I'd bring my own gear. Winds are 100% frontal, so it can be from 12-30 knots.

Scheveningen in the Netherlands and the beach of Brugge in Belgium , especially Oostend (easy car ride from the Netherlands + you get to see Brugge, the most beautiful city in the world) - nice!

From Amsterdam, the beach to go to in SW to WSW is Wijk aan Zee. In NNW to NW, it's ijmuiden. Southerly? Ijmuidenslag. Renting gear is impossible, as far as I know.
