Hi,
Ended up in Barcelona on last minute wayward trip. Canadian no gear but wondering if there are places that look good for Easter Weekend and rent gear? I am an advanced rider and have never kited in Europe so would love to get out (Surf/Twin).
Any help would be appreciated!

The closest kiteable spot that has some kiteshops with equipment to rent is Castelldefels, but I'm not completly sure as I live more in the north, and my main spot is in the Gulf of Roses.
Unfortunately you are in the middle if the crowd, and the best kite spots are far from you.

If I'm not mistaken, there is a kitespot in Barcelona right next to the airport. San Pere Pescador and Estartit are close-ish and are known kitespots which most likely will have school/gear. Not sure if it's the season yet though - I know in summer it gets regular thermal winds. Also, maybe google / facebook "kitesurfing barcelona" - it might bring some clarity.

Easy train ride from city. Get off at 2nd stop ... the first casteldefels is the town. 2nd one is the beach.

Saturday would be offshore. Today (Friday) should be better, side on. Try to rentfrom internet, or n Castelldefels , although you might need to walk quite a lot, things are spread out
