I genuinely feel sorry for you guys.
Here in New Zealand we have this lovely anachronistic concept of Queen's Chain, which reserves public access within one chain = 66 ft = 20m of any waterway. Legally, it is not quite as simple as that, but it does mean that you can pretty much bluff your way onto any beach.
If only all countries has the "freedom to roam" rights of Scotland and Scandinavia.

ah ah ah... USA: Land of the free or land of the 1%.... like they say: just get rich then you will be able to own your own beach, then you will be able to kite as much as you can ;-) It isn't their fault if you guys are poor and cant afford your own beaches.
