Which bar for petite person / shorter arms

Postby grigorib » Tue May 01, 2018 2:03 pm

Friend is a petite person and has trouble reaching bar if fully let go and/or trimmer (Cabrinha 1x with Trimlite). Any advice on a bar system which is more suitable for shorter folks?

Check out the North Click Bar... Since the controls are at the end of the bar it works pretty well for shorter or smaller riders. Or Ocean Rodeo has one too, but not sure what the exact name is.

The Cabrinha Fireball with Recoil system brings the bar and the trim much closer to the body.

The Gaastra bars throw is too short for me so it would probably suit.

The Naish bars have a movable sugarcube so that the bar does not slide all the way up. I dunno what it is called. It is a fixed stopper. Super neat solution.

Seat harnes, small chicken loop, kite with short throw and active trimming to keep the bar closer to your body. Even better with a system without chicken loop, brm connection style. It is not so much about the bar but on all the other parts.
