you dudes are funny..
yes.. throw a class action against a company with about 10 employees and see how much dow you gonna get back
So are you pissed at woo for trying to fix and improve their product?
Keep in mind, they have never made any claims about the precision of the device.
I don't know why so many people assumed that it would have millimeter-grade precision.
From what I can tell, the precision of current version is on par or better than deriving the height from a phone snapshot of a jump or gopro footage.
That pretty much gives you bragging rights without the hassle of video setup, assistants and counting pixels on a crappy video where you appear as a few dots.
If that does not work for you, then just don't buy the damn thing.. wait for rocket science to advance.
Uumm where is the test..they do some external test about accuracy?? We dont care about millimeter but we are talking about meter ....a lot of meter ....u sell product without any test and now maybe people its tired to spend money for nothing...

I have the woo 2. I realize it’s highly inaccurate especially for someone like me who flies foil kites but hey it’s fun. Anyone that brags off their wicked woo height is a tool anyhow so why all the fuss?

This has been discussed in other thread ~6mon ago.
Buy many cheap action cameras with pole mounts. Put a 9m pole (or 12m or 20m) on beach. Put cameras on pole at even spacing of 0.5m or 1m. Now you have similar to construction laser reference levels from camera objectives to far horizon at different heights.
Kiter above camera-horizon level when camera is 8m high - the kiter is definitely higher than 8m. But if not fully above 8.5m camera then height is 8-8.5m range. Compare to woo reading.

There was a listing/screenshot of raw data when Woo v1 came to market.
Database had jump heights with micrometer level (1/1000th of millimeter). There it comes..

joriws,
really? is that your everyday travel setup? 20meter poles and 20 cameras? WTF is wrong with you to even offer it as EVERYDAY solution!
You must be trolling.. so I am not even going to waste my time on the other comment, which makes as much sense as this one..
Jesus!!!

Not everyday setup but in general verify devices readings.
