I know North easterly is recommend but Anyone know if this spot works in a North wind pl?

No it would be blowing offshore into the English channel, definitely will not work today.

Westerly is direct offshore. Northerly is side shore, but obviously don't fly near Dungeness where the land runs out or risk being taken offshore.

You can get off the Varne in a Northerly and it is sideshore, you also have some lee shore downwind as the bay curves out toward Dungeness point, but it'll be gusty. It's been North Easterly recently and South Easterly today, the weekend also sees wind in the East but how much depends on thermal activity over the Marsh, the sun does have a habit this time of year in dragging the wind round with it, Nor Easters become East etc
Check Lydd airport on XC weather for the best up to date report and what's going on down there.
