crazyfly raptor ltd 2018 vs normal pads/ straps??

Postby dragnfly » Fri May 18, 2018 7:38 am

I've asked this on a few FB sites, and asked CF directly (who chose to completely ignore me) - and not had any decisive answer.

Will normal straps, such as Naish Apex, Cabrinhas, etc, fit properly onto a 2018 Crazyfly raptor Ltd? Has anyone done it? Does anyone have access to a Raptor & some straps that can test it?
Thanks.

Like you say you need someone to measure screw diameter. It always annoys the pants off me that this is not a standard width for all boards.

Crazyfly are known for using their own insert width (also core 6.75") so I don't think 6" pads like naish apex II would work.

Yes they will fit, but you will have only 2 mounting options instead of the 3 options you have with Hexa Bindings.

Not sure if this helps, but I put 2017 Hexa pads on a 2016 cabrinha Tronic, it was a tad tight but ok.
Don't think the Hexa's have changed size, so C/F and Cab spacings must be similar?
Lots of assumptions there, so need to check. Powerkite shop always seem to know what they are talking about when I've called them.

Be good to have a table of spacings for boards.
