All the other high performance foils are made by paraglider companies.

The Aero is offering some very up to date paraglider design elements. It begs the question who actually designed the Aero, and who is building it?

The promotional video is wonderful. It's a bit disappointing that they don't provide any technical data for the kites.

That interview is for the Aero. The Aero V2 looks very different. It's also dated a year ago.

All the new stuff in the Aero V2 would require a major lift in manufacturing processes. There's a bunch of factories already doing that. I'm just curious about it.

I'm interested in seeing the aspect ratio. Not for any important reason. It's just curiosity. The product pages makes a bit of a fuss about it. You'd think they would tell us what it is. Those race foils look like weapons and it's nice to know how "weapony" it is. Race kites are currently pushing 8:1. I am wondering how close the new kid is getting.

Just pointing out where you could find who designed the kites and that it is no secret.

AR is around 8 indeed, need to ask for the exact numbers. Factory wise I doubt there is one that produces only foil kites and no paragliders so the Aero is no exception here although the designer has a kite-design background instead of paragliding.

Aero V2 has 65 cells (same as Sonic race). Kite looks very well designed, I don't see why it couldn't be very competitive against top race kite models.

MIniribs are a bit different than usually seen, apparently some development there. TE cell count is highest there is (with Sonic race), huge 130.

I guess AR is about the same 7.75 as it is in Sonic. Practical limits are close, pushing AR further probably make kites too difficult to use. I don't know where these PL foil kites are made but quality of manufacture is for sure good enough.

I wanted to test a 21 for 1 or 2 races to see directly if it would have made me faster or helped me get better angles, would you have lend me your kite for a race or 2 ?! :roll:

Since Peter Lynn had announced they would be there at the event, I was thinking they would have demo kites to be used by racers who were not team riders.
