Postby D746 » Fri May 25, 2018 2:31 pm

Just been trying my new rrd freerace board for The first time. Trying to ride it on the fins insted of the edge, but lose controll when it starts to plane in choppy water. Any tips? Been riding tt,s since the start but this is new :)

1) Keep it flat.
2) Try riding slower with the back foot out of the straps and a more upright position for starters. Then learn to hike out as you build power and speed.

Ride it in flat water (lightwind probably). Really chopy water is not much fun on a freerace board. If you have generaly chopy water then you need more like lightwind surfboard.
