Adjustable stopper on the OR Stickshift bar is solid ( won't slip ) but still easy to adjust, provided it's within reach of course.

@knotwindy could you explain the idea behind v,y conversion with ss ring? How do you attach it in desired point on lines? Cheers
I used quite few bars and some are better then others, simple bar with good lines should last one and a half season without worrying for safety.
I would not push it again, as have been in water when wind was gusting 50kn my previous bar got jammed while I let safety go, I put my kite down to surface lever and waited around three lonest minutes of my life for a friend to land his kite and help me. Might be one off but will never risk again and use only well tested, reliable gear.
Sometimes it is better to spend more for decent bar, You will appreciate it when needed.

Thanks for all the suggestions, I think i will try the ocean rodeo for my GF if i can find it in a European store for a good price. As for myself I am still thinking on what to get, I like the Core Sensor 2s Pro bar, North Click, and Slingshot Sentinel, but probably will get whatever I can test first.

If split height is a priority, Switch also have a variable height split point on their latest bar.

Eleveight came out with the seat belt style reset before ozone so its not a unique feature with them (though the bar does look very nice anyway)

My current favourite bar is probably my best RP bar (the last one they made before stopping EU sales). Cheap. Good North chicken loop. Adjustable height trim adjuster with elasticated trim line to keep it tidy. Half the weight (okay it feels like that much although its not) of the Click bar. Nice narrow diameter comfortable grip.

The North click bar does 'stick' more than other PU coated centre line system I have ever tried. It doesn't bother me (I only really notice it when there isn't line tension - like setting up) but it does bother some people. Also the self unswivelling system does mean that you need to spend more time running the lines out on the beach before hand. Might just be mine but if the front lines aren't untwisted, the twist always seems to rise up to the high split point before it separates so you effectively end up with a high Y split. Otherwise its a decent enough bar - I really wanted the Ocean rodeo bar but it was £100 more expensive so settled for the click bar instead. The adjustable pig tails are gold mind you. Currently riding the reverse of North settings as it fits both styles of my current kite quiver.

Finally I bought two bars: North Click bar (with the small chicken loop) and Slingshot Sentinel bar(for my girlfriend). Have to order the new kites now, and hopefully next week I will be able to test and compare the two bars.

Just a quick tip as you were worried about the stopper on the Click bar not being strong enough... It is adjustable on the fly straight out of the bag and is pretty good at staying where you put it, however if you want to more permanently keep it in one position there is a grub screw on the stopper (use the fin key provided with the bar) that you can tighten against the depower.

click bar is good but don't buy 2017 version with defect V distributor and safety line end...2018 changed these...

Yeah that is what I plan to do, however I am also thinking on buying a second stopper and putting both of them back to back, so the top one can be permanently fixed, and the bottom one can still be moved if necessary.
