Anyone in the UK bought a Switch kite and had to pay import tax ? Their prices look very good but being New Zealand based would you pay standard rate import tax into EU ?
thanks

As far as I know, Switch uses a EU based warehouse for distribution in the EU and the prices already include VAT.

I thought the same until a few days ago I placed an order for an Element kite. It is coming from Hong Kong warehouse...
Hope that I don't have to pay any import tax...

If you order from EU, tax is included.

If you are located in Europeand and your parcel will be shipped to a EU country, your kite is comming from the UK warehouse. So no VAT on top.
tks

EU riders who've ordered recently, are you getting stung for 20% VAT now they are shipping from HK? Their site says "All orders shipped to Europe may be subject to VAT, import duties and customs charges.". Not sure what the "may" is about.

May: if they check the parcel at customs.
Might go thru without anything, but if checked BAT and tax on top !
