Anyone got a copy of those pressures mentioned on the pump?
Thx.

The above inflation pressures obviously depend on leading edge diameters. For example, my 12m Enduro V2 with it's relatively skinny leading edge is definitely under inflated at 6-7psi.

By coincidence, I talked Phil recently, he’s a great guy and he really has excellent kite skills on the water!

Surprised he didn't fully unroll his kite before starting to pump. Doing the auto-unroll by pumping risks pinching and popping a section of your LE bladder - doesn't happen frequently, but do the auto-unroll enough times and you will at some point miss a session with a popped bladder. Repaired enough bladders to know it happens. Owners usual question - " I've done it ( auto-unroll ) dozens of times before, why did it pop this time ? "

Thanks!

I'd assume these were for the current crop of Cabrinha kites, as they are on a Cabrinha pump and not other kite makes.

Probably a safe assumption, badgb21. But it's hard for me to believe that the recommended pressure for a 12m Apollo (long, skinny, high aspect) is the same as for a 12m FX or a 12m Drifter. To achieve adequate structural integrity, wouldn't the Apollo require more pressure?

A lot of kites show the specific recommended pressure ranges for that particular kite on the LE at the inflation valve. That approach makes more sense to me than putting generic pressure ranges for kite sizes on a pump.

Depends on the LE diameter. Kitesize is irrelevant. But it's a guide, so they generalize by size.
