By choice I use polarised sunglasses when kiting in bright sun and when skiing use polarised photochromic goggles (Zeal).
Do you feel that it is difficult to see down in ditches or the underside of cornices (depth perception where there is no direct sunlight) when snowkiting with polarized goggles?

I don't snowkite, but when skiing no, because they are photochromic (Zeal Automatic lenses).

......they're too foggy or dark (polarized) and I can't see anything when riding, or because the vision just sucks and ruins my riding experience.
My take on polarized glasses is that they are not for kiting. Seems like they ruin my ability to read the wave. Even with snow goggles on the snow, I am trying to get away from polarized.

Funny, as I used to use ONLY polarized back in my fishing days.
Totally agree, especially foiling. Bought those Chinese Daisy glasses. Fogged up so fast...In warm air and water...junk.
Really need something that works. Was in Brazil 2 weeks foiling without glasses, brutal on the eyes. Everyone there using glasses complaining they are fogging, getting so much salt on them they go hazy or have water drops covering them.
16 years and not found a solution....

Im wearing a helmet, so I think it makes fogging worse because helmet prevents air flow and channels heat from head to behind lenses...

So what I have worked out is that the "salt and fog" on your glasses is sunscreen that washes off and coats the glasses. What I do is ride for about 30minutes and take a few dunkings, then come back in to my kite bag and take a napkin out. Wiping it off quickly does the job for the rest of the day, or at least until you put more sunscreen on you face.

Actual fog on the glasses is a problem if you ride slow, especially when you are strapless. Speed helps clear the fog for me.

Matteo, makes sense. But in my case, foiling at this spot, so at low tide it's a 300-400m walk back to launch. I'd rather fry my eyes...

Anyone use the Gath Gedi with half face visor!?

I tie my non-floating glasses' retainer from Decathlon shop to wetsuit zipper now. Using just a narrow 4 inch long strip of velcro to make a Mebius ring - makes it fairly easy. Do not lose glasses any more.

this never fogs up on me, its polarised, with changeable lenses, relatively cheap, fits the helmet and very comfortable.
